You do not do anything with it night to night. It sits in your account, and the show draws numbers on air.

How is the bonus puzzle giveaway different?

That one needs effort. The show puts a Bonus Round puzzle on screen at the end of the episode, and the solved answer is the entry code for a sweepstakes.

You go to the official Bonus Puzzle page, sign in with your club account, type the answer into the empty boxes, and submit. No answer, no entry — your SPIN ID alone does nothing here.

Each night is its own sweepstakes with its own drawing. Five nights of entries means five separate pools, not five tickets in one, which is the single most useful thing to understand about the whole system.

How long do you actually have to enter?

The official play page sets the practical deadline: solve each night's puzzle before 4 p.m. ET the next day. The sweepstakes rules run their own entry periods on top of that, usually about a week per episode, with a final cutoff for the whole promotion.

Do the arithmetic on a normal Tuesday and it is tighter than it sounds. A 7:30 p.m. ET market sees the bonus round around 7:55, which leaves roughly 20 hours.

Who can enter, and how many times?

Residents of the 50 states, Washington D.C. and Canada outside Quebec, at the age of majority where they live. One entry per person and per email address for each nightly sweepstakes.

A second account does not double your odds; it breaks the rules the prize is awarded under. Read the official rules linked from the giveaway page before you enter, since eligibility language shifts between promotions.

What is being given away right now?

It rotates, and that is the part fan pages get wrong most often. The promotion running from the end of August was a Myrtle Beach trip package — five trips worth about $7,500 each, with airfare, an oceanfront stay, show tickets and $600 in dining gift cards, entries closing September 12.

Does the giveaway still run during reruns?

Yes, and this catches out viewers who assume a repeat is dead air. Sony ran an entire trip giveaway across a week of encores this summer; the five bonus puzzles from the week of Aug. 31 were all repeats and all entry codes.

The exception is the on-air SPIN ID draw, which behaves the same either way. A drawn number is a drawn number.

One catch worth knowing

Puzzle answers are online long before the West Coast airing. Sites post the solution within minutes of the East Coast broadcast, so anyone at 7 p.m. Pacific can enter without watching.
